Each scholarship recipient is selected based on their talent, dedication, and passion for music, and we are proud to play a role in helping them turn their passion into a career.

Meet Our Scholarship Recipients
Scholars 2026
1. Oni Folakemi – Singer

Kemi developed an interest in music from childhood through church, where attending choir rehearsals sparked her passion.
Her family and environment played a strong role by encouraging and exposing her to music early on.
As she grew, her passion became more serious, leading her to music school where she is learning piano, ear training, vocals, and songwriting.
Music to her is a form of expression and connection, something that has always been a natural and defining part of her life.
2. Muiz Alimi – Singer

Muiz’s musical journey began long before he fully understood it, from church songs and cartoon themes to writing lyrics during his school days.
In 2020, during the COVID period, personal challenges pushed him to start creating music as a way to cope and stay mentally grounded.
His environment shaped his sound, bringing a sense of grit and real-life experience that reflects in his music.
Music means everything to him—it became his healing path and purpose, driving his ambition to inspire and impact the world through his art.
3. Tosin Olawanle –Music Production

Tosin’s music journey began at a young age in church, where he started playing drums and later learned piano, building a strong musical foundation through constant exposure to music and performances.
His family and environment played a key role, especially his father’s musical background, which encouraged him to develop his skills, while church experiences shaped his early growth.
Over time, his journey evolved from playing piano for vocalists to music production, driven by a deeper calling to understand and create sound on a more technical level.
Music to him is deeply spiritual—it connects him to his creator, helps him express what words cannot, and keeps him grounded, inspired, and alive.
4. Praise Moses – Singer

Praise began his music journey at a young age in church, progressing through different choir groups while developing and strengthening his vocal abilities.
His early experiences and his mother’s constant encouragement played a significant role in nurturing his passion and confidence in music.
Over time, his journey evolved into a focused path in singing, where he continues to grow and refine his voice.
Music to him is a source of hope and peace, something that brings comfort and inspires both himself and others.
5. Ifeoluwa Sanni– Audio Technology

Ifeoluwa’s music journey began around 2009 when he was enrolled in a music school to learn piano, an experience that laid the foundation for his passion.
His family played a key role by introducing him to music early, creating an environment that allowed his talent and interest to grow.
Over time, his journey evolved through mentorship and experience, leading him to develop skills in music arrangement, vocal direction, and eventually founding his own group, Silkharmonics.
Music to him is more than a passion—it is a calling and the very essence of what he believes he was created to do.
Scholars 2025
Emmanuella Adejoh – Singer

She started music as a 4 year old who saw her mom do jazz music for 30 years developed an interest in it.
She performed my first song (Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston) at 4 years old and knew there was no turning back. She’s been doing music professionally for 10 years.
She enjoys being a musician to get to share a part of herself to the world, to connect with people regardless of age, race, religion, shape or size and to get to be her unapologetically
Her belief statement is from Philippians 4:13
2. Moses Ajetomobi – Music Production

He believes music brings color and life to this world and loves doing that. Music helps him express himself better and makes him happy and fulfilled.
He started music at a tender age and comes from a family that enjoys good music. His mum would play the tambourine everyday during morning devotion, his older siblings were in the choir and he started playing the drums in church at a young age and that really helped shape my rhythmic sense.
His love for music production was sparked in 2016 when he met Ayodeji Olowu (popularly known as Cracker Mallo), and started officially producing music in 2020 and it has been a major passion for him since.
A quote he’d like to share is from Philippians 4:13 and that there is no right time and way of doing music.
3. John Uzor – Audio Technology

John Uzor is a lover of organised sound and its technicalities. He’s been interested in the science of how sound is brought together to create something meaningful and also how it’s been used to amplify music to a large range of people.
Whenever he hears music, it gives him joy. The more knowledge he gets, the more joyful he feels. It’s also one of his ways of worship to God and help others do the same.
He started music at a very young age by joining the music department in his church and in his school. He started drumming in school at a very young age.
John had worked with a lot of musical groups, featured in projects and engineering sounds.
He believes the musical journey is stage by stage and requires diligence and believe in God and lines will fall in places for you at the right time.
4. George Ibe – Singer

George Ibe enjoys being a musician as a mode of expression for himself and to share his stories with the world.
He gets to connect with people relatively through music
His area of specialization in music is as a singer/songwriter, background vocalist, recording and performing artist
He started music at a very young age as a drummer, then as he grew much older he started to write songs and make music with a style called "Palmwine melody".

How to Apply for a Scholarship
Each year, we invite talented individuals to apply for our scholarships. The process is designed to identify promising musicians who are dedicated to their craft and eager to make an impact in the music world.
Eligibility
Must be a passionate and committed musician with a clear vision for their career.
Open to individuals pursuing any genre of music, from classical and jazz to contemporary and electronic music.
Financial need may be considered in the selection process, but it is not a requirement.
Application Process
Submit an online application form, including a personal statement outlining your musical journey, goals, and why you are seeking financial support.
Provide samples of your work, such as audio, video, or performance clips that showcase your talent.
Include two references from teachers, mentors, or music professionals who can speak to your dedication and potential.
Attend an interview or audition (if required) where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and passion.
Deadline
Scholarship applications are accepted annually, with the deadline for the upcoming cycle being [December 7th 2025]. We encourage all interested candidates to apply early and submit their materials as soon as possible.
